Our 20 is pure fun! A perfect fit for couples, teens, or single-handing, yet she is rated to carry six. Similar to her larger siblings in a smaller package, some say she is the best ride of all. One thing is for sure, you have to experience the 20’ to believe how soft she rides. Her fine forward section cuts through waves, while her round bilges yield to make for soft landings. Both sections are working full time due to her balanced weight distribution. Go ahead, try and make her slam…betcha can’t.
The 20 is Willard Albury’s second fiberglass design, production started in 1990. She is widely used commercially in rental fleets and by Bahamian fishermen, as she holds up quite well. She is entirely made by hand, you won’t find a chopper gun in our shop. A vinylester resin barrier, Coosa composite transom, ISO gelcoat, Corecell and liberal use of vacuum technology ensures a tight, solid structure. Materials science has come a long way since 1990 and we have kept up.
With a newly designed third generation console, splash well, and livewell/leaning post option, we extended her capabilities more than ever. She is adaptable as a day boat; great for fishing or diving, water sports for the kids, as a tender. The 20 is plenty fast and economically driven, achieving 4 mpg, and on plane at 18 mph. Top speeds equal 43 mph powered by a 150, and 46 mph with a 175 hp outboard. You rarely find a used 20 on the market because folks just keep them. She is typically the last small boat anyone owns.
Testimonials
Albury 23 is a truly impressive boat. Handles both a head & following sea with equal adeptness...like where did the waves go? Handled 3-6’ seas amazingly, way better than our old 24 Grady. Thanks for a great job.
Just wanted to say, after three seasons, I am still tremendously enjoying my Albury 23. She has a wonderful kindness in a sea and is truly reliable - and she always turns heads. I've had people come down the dock just to see her and find out where she came from. I'm running charters on her now. The customers are always impressed, as I continue to be.

Those who have ridden on the boat or fished with us are universally impressed by the ride….she just goes and goes…solid as a rock.

The boat (27) eats big chop, we call her chopasaurus…caught and released an Atlantic long bill spearfish on the boat yesterday in very rough seas. The boat handled very well. Having the engines close to the transom made the difference on 6 or 7 occasions when the fish streaked under the boat and I had to bring the rod around the back to switch sides.
Sunday we took my mother-87, father-87 and uncle-92 (2 on wheel chairs) out for a spin. Total 12 people on the boat. Everyone had a seat and loved the ride. Try that on a Contender.

Boating since 1962…the Albury is without a doubt the softest, nicest riding boat I have ever been on, period…you have a wonderful crew working at your shop. It is obvious that they all take great pride in building the boats. (1 year later) you take care of the customer after the sale…rare thing that anyone would go to the lengths you have to correct a minor situation…you went way over the top.
